The Flash Workout Routine

Today we are gonna tackle one of my favourite comic book characters of all time and that is The Flash!

I already have a bunch of different posts on diets so I’m gonna stop writing them in every post post.

Stats: The Flash has had varying in stats in each new version whether it was comic book or live action. We are gonna stick to the idea that he is tall, lean and a runner; and I’m am going to guide us mortals to achieving a similar physique.

The Workout Routine

Imp: So this is obviously gonna be a cardio-based routine with a little bit of strength training to give you that lean look. We are gonna have 3 running days. If you can’t run as much as given below you can follow the basic idea behind it i.e. i want you to find out your max running distance, two days you will run half of that and one day you will go your max (eg. you can 2K at most, so two days you will run 1K and then on the third you will run your 2K). Overtime you can increase your distance. I have also added two strength training days which are both full body workouts, but you can also switch it for Upper body-Lower body splits. So without further ado, let’s get into it.

The Split
Monday : 5K/1 Hour Walk

Tuesday : 5K Run

Wednesday : Full Body A

Thursday : 5K Run

Friday : 8-10K Run

Saturday : 5K/1 Hour Walk

Sunday : Full Body B

Full Body A

5 Pull Ups
10 Push Ups
15 Crunches
20 Squats
x3-5

Full Body B

5 Chin Ups
10 Reverse Grip/Bicep Push-ups
15 Reverse Crunches
20 Reverse Lunges
x 3-5

If you don’t know how to preform any of the exercises, you can always search the name on the net or watch some videos on YouTube.
